Iginia, Paolo and Letizia Carducci
Her indomitable love of cooking continually leads her to stake her all and experiment new methods on traditional recipes. She has a definite preference for historical cooking practices, rooted
in the land of the Marche which unites memories of childhood to flavours
and current excellent local produce See her C.V. Paolo, born in 1964, completed his studies leading to the management of the family farm and who has always contributed to the Osteria dei Fiori business, dedicating himself prevalently to internal restaurant service. He attended three courses of the A.I.S (The Association of Italian Sommeliers) and has collaborated with other local restauranteurs in an intensive catering and banqueting business. For more than 10 years now, he has chosen cooking as his main occupation and has attended numerous professional cooking courses while training under the watchful eye of sister, Iginia. All round handy-man, technician and craftsman with great powers of inventiveness who cannot be substituted, forever at the ready and cheery, he always manages to ease matters and settle great kitchen sagas. At forty years of age he crowned all his dreams marrying Samuela and had two perfectly delicious girls, Sara and Rebecca, besides returning to his great love for the country: he refurbished an old country house where he offers country hospitality, “La Fattoria di Paolo”. Letizia was born in 1965, youngest of the three, she graduated in Political Sciences at the University of Macerata. The countless loves and endless curiosity have all contributed to her multi-faceted training which ranges from healthy and natural eating to wines, thanks also to attending three professional courses of the A.I.S. (The Association of Italian Sommeliers), to her travels around the world, which are a constant source of stimulus and reflection, as well as to art in all its forms. She grew up among the tables because she started to lend a hand in the family at a very early age; in the restaurant she fed off gatherings of some importance while developing a particular sensitivity and ability towards relating with all around her. Her main occupation, for 20 years now, has been to look
after the dining customers placing great care on the customer, besides
being responsible for harmonising seasonal proposals and keeping up cellar
supplies as well as maintaining a preference for where they originate
and the zone itself.
The results obtained in more than 25 years of business are substantially due to the great sense of commitment throughout the whole family, not least because of the special supplies from the country by Nonno Dino and Nonna Maria, to the spirit of humility and on the accord which is firmly rooted in the loving and united family relationship and the sense of solidarity which pervades the whole management process. The desire to improve has been met with the sound response of delighted connoiseurs and an ever-growing clientele. |
