Besides the hotels in the town, to better get a taste of the charm of the area, we suggest that you book a place in the “La Fattoria di Paolo” Country House, managed by Paolo Carducci, 8 km into the countryside which offers genuine country hospitality.

In the area near Treia and with the help and collaboration of his father, Dino, Paolo has been refurbishing an old hill-top farm house and has restarted an actual farm with crops of vegetables, fruits, herbs and courtyard animal rearing.

The “La Fattoria di Paolo” Country House comprises 5 double rooms (one of which is fully equipped for the disabled), an independent flat and a large living area with kitchen attached, where often, in collaboration with the Osteria dei Fiori Restaurant, small events, parties, banquets (for approximately 50 persons), work meetings, cookery courses, farm teaching activities for schools, art workshops take place.

Among the hills, whose land clearly shows the design impressed upon it by the work of the townspeople and farmers of Treia and Apignano, guests and lovers of nature may take advantage of a lovely open meadow, shaded by age-old oaks, go for ecological walks through the cultivated fields and/or take part in the daily life of planting which takes place at the farm house.

The Osteria dei Fiori staff is at the clientele’s complete disposal for their catering and banqueting needs, food to take away, cooking at your home, and has, for years, collaborated with private individuals and public institutions and participated at the greatest food and wine events in the Marche, in order to maintain and pass on excellent Macerata produce.

Since 2005, it has collaborated particularly well with the “La Fattoria di Paolo” Country House, organising private parties, banquets and teaching courses of all types, and in this way showing a preference for tradition and what the surrounding countryside has to offer.
